12.15, I have the honour to be interviewing Sarah Hilary and Kate Hamer

Sarah Hilary’s debut, Someone Else’s Skin, won Theakstons Crime Novel of the Year and was a World Book Night selection. It was the Observer’s Book of the Month (“superbly disturbing”) and a Richard & Judy Book Club bestseller, and a Silver Falchion and Macavity Award finalist in the US. No Other Darkness, the second in the series was shortlisted for a Barry Award. Her DI Marnie Rome series continued with Tastes Like Fear, Quieter Than Killing, and Come and Find Me. Her latest, Never Be Broken, is out this month, May 2019.

Kate Hamer grew up in the West Country and Wales. Her novel The Girl in the Red Coat was published in 2015. It was shortlisted for The Costa First Novel Prize, the British Book Industry Awards Debut Fiction Book of the Year, The John Creasy (New Blood) Dagger and the Wales Book of the Year. It was a Sunday Times bestseller and has been translated into 18 different languages. Her second novel The Doll Funeral was published in February 2017 and was chosen as an editor’s pick on Radio 4’s ‘Open Book’ and Book of the Month in the industry journal The Bookseller. Her third novel Crushed is published by Faber & Faber this very month, May 2019.

Thanks to Griffin Books of Penarth, copies of both Sarah’s and Kate’s books will be available to purchase (and have signed, of course).
